Cowpoke Chili

I made this for dinner the other night, and it's wonderful.  It's from "The
McDougall Program For Women" by Dr. John McDougall.

COWPOKE CHILI
Preparation Time:  15 minutes
Cooking Time:  33 minutes
Servings:  8

1/4 cup water
1 onion, chopped
30 ounces canned chopped tomatoes
15-ounce can kidney beans
15-ounce can red beans
15-ounce can tomato sauce
2 2/3 cups crumbled vegetarian burgers
4-ounce can chopped green chiles
1 1/2 tablespoons chili powder (or to taste)
1 tablespoon diced jalapenos (or to taste)
2 teaspoons ground cumin
2 teaspoons brown sugar
2 teaspoons Wonderslim cocoa powder
1 1/2 teaspoons ground oregano
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Place water and onion in large pot.  Cook, stirring occasionally, for 3
minutes.  Add remaining ingredients and cook, uncovered, over low heat for
30 minutes.  Serve over rice or baked potatoes.
