I've been meaning to send this in.  An alternative way to prepare
bulghur is to place one cup of bulghur into a bowl, then add three
cups of water.  Stir and leave it alone until it looks like all the
water has been absorbed.

Then pour it into a strainer to get rid of the excess water.

Instead of the denser kernels, they will be so light that you may have
to put a plate over the top of 'em to keep them from floating away.
