breakfast ideas


I am experimenting with Congee for breakfast. You just throw 1
part grain, 6 parts water and a pinch of salt into a crockpot
before you go to bed. You wake up to a hot meal. Grains can
include rice, millet barley, rye, oat groats, spelt, wheat berries, 
or quinoa for example. Add your favorite spice if you want such as
ginger, cinnamon, bay leaf, nutmeg, cloves, or cardamom. In the
morning, top with honey, maple syrum, rice or soy milk, fruits, or nuts.
The possibilities are endless!
