new recipe

Newly developed


1 pkg. firm tofu (350 grams 0r about 2/3 pounds)
1 medium onion
1 cup TVP (granular)
1 cup rolled oats
1 jar tomato or spagethi sauce

Chop the onion really fine (I twirl it in the food processor)
Add the drained tofu and process till crumbly (with the onion)
Add spices to taste (I used about 1 tablespoon of Italian seasoning spices)
Mix this crumbly mixture with the rolled oats and the TVP
Form into 1 inch diameter balls
Brown (I use a non-stick teflon pan)
place the browned balls into a glass dish 
cover with your tomato sauce (I used a can of crushed tomatoes)
350 degree oven for 30 minutes
