Wouldn't rice syrup be a good sugar substitute? You
can find it in any health food store. It is not very
sweet, but if using fruit and whole grains in cooking
and baking, one does not really need alot of added
sweetness, as these things are already have a
sweetness. Also, Splenda is very, very sweet. Too
sweet for me. It's used in alot of Dr. Atkins
products. I have found it in a local health food
store. I have also tried stevia which is ok, but also
very sweet. I, myself, like things that are less
sweet, as it makes me have less cravings for the
things I shouldn't eat.
