Eating red meat isn't necessary at all to bring up the level of iron in your blood. There're enough seeds and grains that can provide you with all the iron you need.
Just make sure you eat lentils (perfect source!), rye (bread), soy beans and soy products, spinach or whole grain rice on a regular basis.
But you still need a physician have a look at the levels of iron in your blood. Maybe it's something else you're lacking!
