My favorite Vietnamese grocery store yielded a wonderful bonus the other
day. It's a rice noodle soup that's ready in just 3 minutes. Best part is
that the fat is virtually zero. The package says 3 grams but that is only
if one adds the (gag) palm oil that comes in one of the flavoring packets.
If you have an Asian grocery nearby you might be able to find it. It's Mama
brand clear soup.
I've also used another of the Mama brand instant rice noodles for making a
base for veggies and sauce.
