cooking rice

Hi Debee! I used to have a terrible problem with cooking rice until I
figured out to turn the heat off when there is still a little bit of
water left at the bottom of the pot. Let it sit till the water is
absorbed. This works for an electric range. Don't know about gas. Also
don't open the lid before it is mostly done. For Some reason this makes
the rice clump together. HTH, bk
