protein

Protein is protein, no matter where you get it from (animals get their
protein ultimately from plants, after all).  Animal proteins don't have
"artery clogging crap"; it's the saturated fat (which is also present in
vegetables to a certain extent) as well as the cholesterol in animal
tissue that does this.  Therefore, vegetable proteins aren't necessarily
"superior", considering they're the same thing.
