McDougall Books

A couple of people have asked about which Mcdougall book would be the 
best one with which to start.  Here's my opinion...If you have a lot of 
weight to lose and you want to do it quickly and easily, your best bet 
would be _The McDougall Program for Maximum Weight Loss_.  If your 
primary motivation is health and you do not have a large amount of weight 
to lose (or are in no particular hurry), _The McDougall Plan_ or _The 
McDougall Program: 12 Days to Dynamic Health_ would be the best choices.  
If you are only looking for recipes, I prefer _The New Mcdougall 
Cookbook_, although, I have not seen the newest cookbook, so I couldn't 
comment on that.  I really like the MWLP, but the recipes in that 
cookbook are underwhelming, to say the least.
