this is like (6) 1.5 pint jars.  Typical canning jars that you use there. 
enough of the mince to fill 6 or so of these jars.  It all so depends on 
how big the apples are, how long you cook and so on.  I usually sterilize 
my jars by the dishwasher load so there are plenty of them to have around.
