I completely agree with you.  Fortunately I don't have a weight problem,
but people think it's still ok to comment on my weight and the way I eat.
For instance, my Grandfather comments every time I see him about how I
should eat meat or fatty foods to put more "meat on my bones".

I get the impression that most people think comments about how thin they
think you are will come across as compliments, but I usually find them
offensive.  Why do people feel the need to make remarks about someone
else's body?
