I have found the best recipe for fried green tomatoes and the BEST
vegetarian, vegan, book ever ! “The First Book of Vegetarian Cooking” by
Stevens,Dionne, N.D. . The recipe for “fried" green tomatoes is on page
130. They are baked but crusty and good!
