Bread's not bad

Newshock...bread's not bad for you, unless you're on a program like Dr.
McDougall's Program for Maximum Weight Loss.

It's the flour in the bread that's the problem.  It takes it's "sweet" time
digesting.  That makes the pancreas create more insulin and that takes the
glucose the flour-based products produce as a result of digestion and stores
it as fat.

If you're not worried about your weight, go for it!

I bake for my family almost every day.  Even have my own flour mill.  I just
have to resist what comes out of my own oven until I've lost the weight I
want to lose.

BTW, I got that info from Dr. McDougall's book, hope my understanding of it
is correct.
