New Vegan, flatulence, etc.

1) increase the number of fresh salads you have during the week (like one
every three days, minimum).... increase same if using alot of highly
concentrated proteins and beans frequently.

2) don't eat fresh fruit (particularly with melon) and other foods
(particularly beans and bean products).

3) use "asfetida" when making lentils (Indian-style)  it apparently aids in
digestion.

4) sprout your beans

5) use a strip of Kombu (sea vegetable) in water when cooking beans.

6) yup, ginger seems to help! especially with fresh unpasteurized vegetable
juices

These are things that have helped me and may or may not work for you too!   Mark
