From 'The Complete Whole Grain Cookbook' by Carol Gelles.
Basic Cooking Instructions
2 1/2 cups water
1 cup whole-grain wheat, rinsed
1/2 tsp. salt, (added AFTER cooking)
In 2qt saucepan, boil water, stir in wheat, and return to boil.
Reduce to simmer, covered, for 2 hours, until almost all of the
liquid has been absorbed. Remove from heat, let stand for 15 minutes.
Add salt and fluff with a fork
