Here's a recipe from Hawai'i.
This is a vegetarian version of "Lomi Salmon" which is a standard modern
Hawaiian Lu'au food.
5 Tomatoes, diced
8 Green onions, thinly sliced
1 medium Onion, finely choped
1-2 tbsp. Cider vinegar
1 tsp. Hawaiian Salt (A.K.A. Rock Salt)
3-5 drops Chili pepper water (or Tobasco sauce)
Combine all ingredients and chill throughly.
Makes 8 portions. (1 portion= 23 calories, 0.2 gram fat, 15% protein, 78%
carbohydrates, 7% fat)
