I hope today finds you all happy, healthy and in love with life.
Here are a couple very simple , good recipes originally taken from
a recipe booklet distributed by Fern Natural Foods - Soya granules.
Dixie Diner also sells toasted soy grits ( They are Good ! )
1/2 cup Soya granules
1 teas vegetable broth
2 Tablespoons Soy Mayonnaise or ff Mayo
1/2 cup fine minced celery
1/2 cup shredded carrot
2 Tablespoons minced parsley
Add 1 cup water or broth to Soya granules and simmer in skillet until almost
dry. let stand 5 minutes or so and mix in all other ingredients.
Makes 6 sandwiches.
Variations include chopped pickle, minced garlic, chopped onion or green
ketchup, dijon - You decide !! Enjoy !
Soya Granule Hot Cakes
Mix 3/4 cup Soya Granules with 3 Tbs honey and enough egg replacement to
cover 2 eggs. Allow to stand 5 minutes. Form into patties and brown on both
sides in sprayed skillet with moderate flame. Serve with Jam, maple syrup,
Variations-add any to the batter - pure berry juice, vanilla, molasses,
cinnamon, raisins, chopped dates or apricots.
