My 12 year old son and I are vegetarians, but we eat dairy products too. We
have both been advised by our doctors that our iron stores are low. Other
than tonics and vitamins,how do we increase our iron? I have been told
green leafy veggies. We like raw spinach in salads but maybe if I had some
recipes for other green leafies we could grow to like them cooked? And what
else can we eat? I think I heard that raisons and beets and apricots are
high in iron? Is this true? Any recipes would be helpful, but I have to
admit the faster the better in our hurried household.
