Creamy mushroom gravy recipe

I joined a couple months ago when we decided to go vegetarian. I've learned
lots of great things on here. When I read about the Land O Lakes FF
half-n-half I ran out and found some. It is wonderful, thank you! That
brings me to my recipe. We love gravy so I came up with this tonight. The
half-n-half gives it that great creamy fattening feel my other FF gravy has
been missing. Hope you enjoy.

Creamy Mushroom Gravy

2 tsp. veggie "beef" boullion powder
2 tsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. Butter Buds (dry)
pepper to taste
4 oz. can sliced or chopped mushrooms
1/2 c. Land O Lakes FF half-n-half

In a 2-cup measure, whisk together boullion, cornstarch, Butter Buds and
pepper to mix well. Add liquid from mushrooms and whisk well again. Add
enough water to make 1 cup of liquid. Add the half-n-half and whisk well.
Put mushrooms and liquid in saucepan and stir over low-med heat until
thickened.

I poured mine over some frozen veggie burgers and let it thicken in the pan
while warming the burgers. I poured the gravy over homemade mashed potatoes
and it was so good!
