This is a recipe from the owner's manual to my Regal
machine. It makes a pretty dense loaf, but is quite
Water: 10 to 12 ounces
Salt: 2 teaspoons
Molasses: 2 tablespoons
Packed brown sugar: 1 tablespoon
Whole wheat flour : 4 cups
Vital wheat gluten: 1 1/2 teaspoons
Active Dry Yeast: 2 teaspoons
They recommend starting with the smaller amount of
water and adjusting as necessary,
but if I planned to make it on timer I would add
closer to 11 or 12 ounces.
