The uses for the berries are many. The can be cracked and put into cracked
wheat bread. The can be ground and made into bread or muffins or pancakes.
The wheat berries can be sprouted, eaten in salad, or added to bread.
The whole berries can cooked into soups and stews, and even as a morning
hot cereal. Laurel's kitchen says to use 3 cups water to 1 cup wheat
berries, and let simmer for 2 hours.
Most recipies that call for whole barley can use wheat instead. The
cooking time, however, wil l have to be doubled
