Soaking beans

Please don't put soaking beans in the 'fridge.  Just soak 'em overnight
on the stove or wherever else you would like to soak 'em.

Better yet, bring water to a boil, let the beans boil for two minutes,
then leave them alone for an hour.

Then bring to a boil and boil them for a couple of hours, making certain
that you keep adding water to them so they don't burn.

There's no good reason to chill the beans as they try to rehydrate, they
will not spoil overnight.
