I peel onions on the kitchen counter next to my stove and turn the hood fan on "high"! Also, run cold water over onions after peeling. Put peelings into one of those new plastic(?) grocery bags. Or peel onion inside bag with bag almost closed around your hands. But the fan works best! Love onions! Lois ------------------------------
