FSO/Rice dish/Rice cooker

I know this list relates to people, but I would like to share my
experience with an alternate use of flax seed oil. My cat, George, had
a skin problem this winter and I went to the HFS to see what I could
find and a helpful woman suggested that I put FSO in their food in very
small quantities. Well, Lo and Behold, his skin cleared up, their coats
are shiny and soft, they shed less and best of all NO MORE
HAIRBALLS!!!YEA!! (I use 1 tsp per 16 oz of food that lasts for 2.5 days
for three cats).

I would also like to share an easy rice casserole dish.

(Portions are dependent on how much your stomach is growlin)
Cooked brown rice
Corn (Frozen, fresh, can)
ff sour cream or ff plain yogurt
ff melty your choice of flavor cheese

Combine and heat the rice and corn. Place in a shallow casserole or
bowl and top with layer of ff sour cream or yogurt. Cover with shredded
melty cheese and broil until bubbly. Serve hot.

Also, as far as rice cookers go, my best kitchen buy this year was a
$5.99 microwave plastic rice cooker from the oriental kitchen/food
supply section at my local Wal-Mart. It is just a plastic bowl with a
gasket and holes on top. I put one part rice and two parts H2O and
microwave it for 27 minutes and I get _perfect_ rice every time.

Thanks for all the neat-o information! I really enjoy this list.
