Soiy-Ginger Sauce

1/4 c. tamari soy sauce
1/4 c. water
1 t. sherry or mirin (sweet rice wine)
1 T. grated fresh ginger
(1 t. salad oil)
1/2 t. sugar

Wisk the above ingredients together and let stand 30 minutes, then strain 
before serving.
